Ken Schluchtmann has completed his latest independent editorial project: “Architecture and Landscape in Norway”, edited by Hatje Cantz. The photographies in this book are the result of over 20,000 kilometres traveled in five years through the breathtaking landscapes of Norway, capturing innovative architecture along the Norwegian National Tourist Routes.
The hardcover book contains 160 pages with 106 illustrations and detailed maps to localize exactly the position of the spots he visited and photographed.
Clear images which transmit all the power of the unique nature, a kind of travel diary, showing Schluchtmann’s personal take on nature in dialogue with contemporary architecture.

Based on an idea of Leigh Haas diephotodesigner.de and flora&faunavisions produced an image serie for the actual issue of Sleek Magazine. It was initiated by a quote of the American actor and comedian George Carlin (1937-2008). The slide installations incorporated Camarque horses and their enviroment as projection screens.

For VOGUE Magazine DIEPHOTODESIGNER.DE visited Italian Stararchitect Massimiliano Fuksas and his wife Doriana on Pantelleria Island.

Very close to Africa the Italian island is an oasis between palm trees, cacti and black lavastone. Here the couple had bought an abandoned estate consisting of eleven small stone houses in the typical island style and turned it into their private summer retreat.
